Dr. Lanier’s team works very hard to utilize and maximize your insurance benefits. However, the dental insurance plan is a contractual agreement between the patient, employer and the insurance carrier. Therefore, it is the patient’s responsibility to pay any deductible, co-pay, or other balance not covered by the insurance carrier when services are rendered. When two dental carriers are involved, as a courtesy, Dr. Lanier’s office will file the second claim and have the insurance company reimburse the patient directly. Dr. Lanier is also a participating providing of Delta Dental.
