Meet Our Team

Ciara

CDA II

Ciara has been in the dental field for 7 years and brings a warm, caring presence to our office every day. Before joining our team, she worked as a pediatric assistant, where she developed a deep appreciation for patient-centered care which is something she continues to carry into her role today.

What Ciara loves most about her job is seeing the transformation that happens over time.

Helping patients achieve long-term improvement in their oral health and witnessing the confidence that comes with it is what keeps her passionate about what she does.

Outside the office, Ciara enjoys baking cookies (and yes, we all LOVE the days she brings some in), staying active with workouts, and spending quality time with her family. She’s the kind of teammate who brings both skill and heart to everything she does-and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our dental family!

Grace

Registered Dental Hygienist

Grace graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill’s dental hygiene program in 2015. After working 2 years in general dentistry, she joined Dr. Lanier’s team in 2017. Grace enjoys the results of intensive periodontal therapy and develops a rapport with her patients during the process. Grace also became anesthesia certified. Patient’s absolutely love her and so does Dr. Lanier’s team! Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband on their mini-farm with a pony, mini cows, and several cats.

Melissa

Financial Coordinator

Melissa graduated as a CDAII from the U.S. Naval Dental Assisting Program in San Diego, CA. She has many years of assisting and front desk experience, including periodontal. Melissa has a very calm demeanor which is perfect for working the high demands of the front office. When the pressure is on, Melissa takes it in stride. We’re all delighted to have her at the front office. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking and playing her baby Cayenne.

Paula

Patient Coordinator

With 17 years of experience in dentistry, Paula brings a wealth of knowledge and a heart full of compassion to our team. She’s worn many hats over the years, from general assistant to oral surgery and periodontal assisting, helping at the front desk, but her true passion lies in helping people achieve their dental goals and feel confident in their smiles.

When she’s not in the office, Paula loves spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, and practicing gun safety. She’s also a whiz in the kitchen, baking and canning her homegrown

April

CDAII

April has been in dentistry for 5 years and brings passion, professionalism, and genuine love for her patients to every part of her role. A graduate of Guilford Technical Community College, she was designated as a DAll and believes loving what you do is the key to success in any practice.

April enjoys working alongside a great team and makes it her goal to leave every patient with a positive experience, from the moment they walk into the moment they leave.

Outside the office, April is married to her husband of 31 years and is a proud mom to four children: Brooklyn, Mariah, London, and Boston. She also has a beloved dog named Rigby and is excited to become a first-time grandma (she’ll go by “Gia”!). In her free time, you’ll find her reading, cooking, watching a good series on Netflix, or enjoying walks with her husband and dog.

Tonia

With over 33 years in dentistry, Tonia brings incredible experience, dedication, and heart to everything she does. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients receive the best oral care possible and supporting them in getting their periodontal health on track. Tonia is just as passionate outside the office, where she enjoys hunting, making tumblers, and resin crafts, attending car shows with her husband, and dancing to her favorite music. She’s also a proud cat mom to Maizie, a calico with lots of personality.

Her love for dentistry and her patients shines through every day—Tonia truly loves what she does, and it shows in her care, her energy, and her smile.

Jessica

With 8 years of experience in dentistry, Jessica brings both skill and heart to everything she does. She genuinely loves helping patients feel better—whether it’s getting them out of pain or just making their day a little brighter. For her, the most rewarding part of her role is building real relationships and making patients feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way.

Outside the office, Jessica is always on the go! She loves traveling to new places, going to concerts, and soaking in the energy of new experiences. At home, she’s a proud mom to two wonderful kids: a boy and a girl, who keep her on her toes and fill her life with laughter.

Jessica’s upbeat personality and caring nature make her a special part of our team, and we’re so lucky to have her!

Kristin

With over 5 years of experience in the dental field, I bring professionalism, organization, and attention to detail into everything I do. When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me chasing after my two-year-old son or working on fun decorating projects around the house. I love creating spaces and moments that feel cozy, beautiful, and full of joy. Family time and creativity inspire everything I do, and I bring that same passion and care into my work!

Balancing my career and family life has taught me the importance of patience, dedication, and creating meaningful connections and values I carry into my business every day!
